As a food reviewer, I'm always excited to explore new menus, but Leo's stood out for its enticing offerings. The medium grilled chicken salad ($14.55) is a highlight, featuring crisp lettuce, juicy grilled chicken, and an array of fresh toppings that come together harmoniously. For those looking for something more authentic, the medium Leo's famous Greek salad ($11.04) is a must-try. Packed with feta cheese, Greek olives, and a zesty dressing, it embodies the rich flavors of Greece.

Leo's also excels in casual dining options with its tantalizing munchies. The 5-piece jalapeño poppers ($7.01) provide the perfect kick, while the 7-piece chicken wings ($14.28) are great for sharing. One cannot overlook their classic New York hot dog ($3.63), topped with grilled sauerkraut — a perfect blend of comfort food and satisfying flavors.

While the food is undoubtedly impressive, the service also plays a crucial role in the overall experience. Customers have praised the friendly and attentive staff, contributing to a warm atmosphere that complements the meal. However, reviews indicate that the level of service can vary during peak hours, emphasizing the importance of timing when planning your visit.

Among the standout dishes, one can't miss the highly recommended chicken pot pie, which has a devoted fan base. Diners rave about the savory filling and flaky crust — perfect for those seeking a hearty, satisfying meal. Another noteworthy mention is the Michigan Cherry salad, which combines the tantalizing flavors of dry cherries and walnuts for a taste of Michigan bliss.

In conclusion, Leo's Coney Island Warren is a testament to family-friendly dining that embraces cultural flavors while maintaining the comforts of home-cooked meals. Whether you're in for a quick bite or a leisurely meal, this establishment promises a dining experience filled with warmth, flavor, and memorable moments. Always have had great experiences at Leo's 13& Hayes. We often order carry out with our busy schedules. Friendly staff and carry out is super quick. Our orders usually included coneys, fries, chicken pita and Greek salad. So complaints the food and service is always spot on.

A metro Detroit staple for years, Leo's is sound go-to family style with a flair. Traditional Greek dishes with coney dogs and plenty of selections. We did get there an hour before closing so they weren't the most receptive, but did a fine job of serving us. Water glass never low and used plates removed in a timely manner. I ordered their Goulash with garlic toast. More peppers than I care for. But it was very tasty as well as a very large portion. My wife had the ham and sweet potato hash. Made with smoked honey ham complimented by sweet potatoes, bell peppers and onions, and topped with two fresh eggs. This was a hit. TIP: try the Michigan Cherry salad. It is s small slice of Michigan heaven. Check out these ingredients: Spring salad mix, dry cherries, Mandarin oranges, walnuts, tomato, cucumber slices, onions, mozzarella cheese and raspberry vinaigrette dressing (optional grilled chicken or gyro meat).
